SOCIAL MEDIA & YOUR PHONE

A little less scrolling.
A little more here.

A meal without checking. A chapter without switching apps. A conversation with your phone put away. Start with a part of the day you want to be more present for.

A MOMENT YOU MIGHT RECOGNIZE

Did you pick up your phone for one thing, and stay for twenty?

A moment away from your phone can have a specific purpose: dinner together, reading, or a piece of work. Start by naming what you want that time to be for.

01

A physical break from the phone.

A compatible phone can be placed inside Kurb Home for a planned period away from it. This limits access to the whole device. It does not selectively block social media apps.

02

Keep essential access in mind.

Think through calls, work access, authentication codes, and other things you rely on your phone for before setting a window. A physical boundary is only useful when it fits the responsibilities in your day.

03

Count the time you made room for.

What did you do while your phone was put away? That can be a useful reflection alongside any screen-time information your phone already provides. Kurb does not read your messages or measure time spent in individual social apps.

KEEP THE LIMITS CLEAR

A tool for time away.

Kurb’s role here is physical storage and scheduled access. It is not an app blocker, a screen-time tracker, or a mental-health treatment. Phone compatibility and availability for this use are confirmed during pilot discussions.
